Joining our passion project accelerator is different from leading CMHQ initiatives. During CMHQ initiatives our support is hands-on as we provide all resources needed to run an initiative. During our passion project accelerator, we are in an advisory role that assists you in creating and executing your project, answering any questions or concerns you may have along the way.

How It Works

Submit an Application

Submit an application to our passion project accelerator program using our form.

For the best chances of being admitted, ensure to be as thorough as possible with your responses. Help us understand who you are and why your project is meaningful to you!

Our Consultants

If admitted to our accelerator, our consultants will help you brainstorm ideas for your project and next steps to make the impact come to life.

Advisory Support

During the course of planning your initiative, have unrestricted access to our advisory team through Slack. This channel can be used to help with addressing any questions or concerns you may have while planning and running your initiative.

Additionally, if you need to reach out to external institutions, our team can reach out on your behalf to aid in increasing response times.

Recognition

Following delivering the project receive:

Certificate
A secure link to a certificate designating the impact you made during the project. This certificate can be placed on platforms such as LinkedIn (Certificate Template: https://www.cmhqglobal.com/impact/volunteer)

Service Hours
Receive service hours for the time you contributed to leading the project. On average, leading a passion project in CMHQ provides five service hours.

Impact Points
Based on the completion of the project, receive impact points through Catalyst. These points can be accumulated to join our gold changemaker program.

Gold Changemaker Program
Being a Gold Changemaker is one of the most prestigious titles awarded within CMHQ. To apply to be part of the program, you must accumulate at least 200 Impact Points. Eligible changemakers may apply for the program, with the application including two written essays.

Gold Changemakers become spokespeople for CMHQ in their country and internationally. Additionally, their bios are published on the CMHQ website and gain access to larger CMHQ initiatives including fundraising and conference hosting.

Social Media Exposure
Have the impact you made be recognized on CMHQ social media outlets including our LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, to inspire more youth to get involved in making impact in their communities.
